RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Every other weekend required
\n• Patient ratios: 1:4-5
\n• BLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred
\n• Care for all types of cardiac patients, pre & post cardiac intervention
\n• Monitor arterial/venous access sites and TR bands post cardiac intervention
\n• Manage pre-open heart surgery patients and pre & post pacemaker and ICD permanent insertion
\n• Care for CHF and stroke patients
\n• Administer IV drips including Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, NTG, antiarrhythmics, platelet-aggregation inhibitors, and anticoagulants
\n• Experience with cardiac telemetry pack and IV pumps required (initiation and setup of IV drips)
\n• Utilize Pyxis, Sorian clinicals, MAK, and glucometers
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• No excessive RTO policy
\n• Complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract
\n• Modules are non-billable, averaging 4-6 hours during orientation and annually
\n• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
