Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
\n\nSchedule\nDay shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:00). Call required every 3rd day after 6pm and every 3rd weekend.
\n\nJob Description\nThe Ultrasound Technologist will perform basic ultrasound procedures such as OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, and breast scans, as well as invasive procedures including thoracentesis and paracentesis. This role involves working with patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations. \n
- Provide quality patient care in an outpatient setting. \n
- Perform invasive procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis. \n
- Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures performed. \n
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes. \n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a community hospital setting. \n
- Current certifications: ARDMS, BLS. \n
- New York State License must be in hand for submission. \n
- Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted. \n
- EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement. \n
