Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
\nUltrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call responsibilities
\n• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract)
\n• 7 days per month on-call requirement with flexibility for additional days based on staffing needs
\n• Possible weekend call requirements
\n• Complete routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures including common and special ultrasound exams of moderate complexity
\n• Perform 2nd and 3rd trimester OB/GYN exams
\n• Conduct upper and lower DVT examinations
\n• Provide direct assistance to physicians with diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures
\n• Work independently while adhering to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines
\n• Use equipment: Philips Epic Elite and Philips Epic ultrasound machines
\n• EMR system: EPIC
\n• Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs
\n• Associates of Applied Science degree required
\n• Graduate of CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program required
\n• Must be Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
\n• 3+ years of experience required
\n• OB/GYN credentials preferred
\n• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required
\n• One of the following credentials required: ARRT-VS, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB/GYN, RDMS-RVT, RDMS-PS, RDMS-MSKS, or RDMS-BR
\n• Virtual orientation and in-person training required
