- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based ultrasound or echocardiography experience required (TTE/TEE/Stress Echo)\n
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through ARDMS preferred/required\n
- Completion of a cardiac sonographer or echocardiography certificate program; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred\n
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association)\n
- Demonstrated experience with Doppler, 2D/3D echo, Strain imaging, Contrast studies, and Stress Echocardiography\n
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with hospital PACS/EMR systems\n
- Ongoing continuing education to maintain RDCS/ARDMS certification\n

- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound exams (TTE, limited TTE, TEE assistance, stress echo) to evaluate heart function, valve performance, chamber size, and blood flow\n
- Conduct advanced echo procedures including Doppler, Contrast Echo, Strain imaging, and Stress Echocardiography\n
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; follow infection control and safety protocols\n
- Accurately record patient data, exam findings, and preliminary measurements in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS\n
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary hospital team to ensure high-quality cardiac imaging and patient care\n
- Participate in orientation, in-service training, and continuing education to maintain competencies and certifications\n
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, departmental protocols, and ARDMS/RDCS standards\n
