Ultrasound Technician Traveler
\n- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, every other weekend, 4 shifts per week
- Location: 1300 Roanoke Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901
- Facility Details: 145-bed community hospital
Responsibilities:
\n- Perform 10-15 echocardiograms per day, shared among 2-3 technicians.
- Utilize GE E90 and E95 ultrasound machines.
- Conduct intraprocedural transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) at the bedside.
- Handle TEE and probe processing.
Qualifications:
\n- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI; RDCS is highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a robust echo department with 7-day per week coverage.
Uniform: Navy blue scrubs provided by the hospital.
