Treasury Management Officer – State Bank We are seeking a proactive Treasury Management Officer to identify sales opportunities, drive adoption of treasury services, and support the Bank’s growth initiatives. Qualifications A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study, or specialized banking education and training in a related field. A minimum of three (3) years of related experience. Preferred Skills Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills. Proficient interpersonal, communicative, and sales skills. A thorough knowledge of bank deposit services and deposit services software programs. Valid driver’s license. Visual and auditory skills. Role and Responsibilities Identify sales opportunities for the Bank’s Treasury Management Services area. Jointly establish quantitative sales objectives with the assigned supervisor on an annual basis, integrating them with the Bank’s marketing/sales plan. Participate in independent and/or joint calls with business partners (Regional Leaders, Commercial Lenders, Small Business Lenders, Retail, Wealth Management and Private Banking) to develop prospects for sale of Treasury Management services such as online banking, remote deposit capture, positive pay, merchant services, etc. Solicit new Treasury Management business from present and prospective customers; maintain ongoing relationships to take advantage of cross‑selling opportunities. Develop, propose and professionally present comprehensive Treasury Management solutions based on client needs and objectives. Participate in the development and promotion of new Treasury Management products. Work with the Director of Treasury Management to increase Treasury Management clients and balances; jointly monitor service utilization. Work with the Director of Treasury Management and Information Technology personnel to identify new and emerging technologies for integration within the bank’s deposit services function. Educate business partners in assigned regions on Treasury Management services; assist them with pre‑qualifying prospects. Achieve goals assigned by the Director of Treasury Management as established in the Division’s annual operating plan. Coordinate departmental tasks with coworkers inside and outside the department to ensure efficient processes and segregation of duties. Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or on an established schedule; comply with information disclosure as necessary. Respond to inquiries relating to the area or to requests from customers and other personnel within established time frames and policies. Abide by current laws and organizational policies designed to promote an environment free of harassment and discrimination. Cooperate with, support, and adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements such as CRA, BSA, ECA, etc. Communicate with the Director of Treasury Management and other department managers to integrate goals and activities. Provide periodic reports to the Director of Treasury Management and other groups as required. Ancillary Duties Perform tasks that are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or re‑designed based on individual or departmental circumstances. Physical Requirements Occasionally remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Occasionally move around the office to accomplish tasks. Occasionally adjust or move objects in all directions. Frequently communicate with others to exchange information. Constantly move wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Engage in sedentary work primarily involving sitting/standing.
