If you're ready to join a team that is passionate about enhancing the customer experience and you're looking to jump into a well-established territory, we would like to hear from you!BenefitsPTO and holiday payMedical and life insurance plans401(K)Position ResponsibilitiesEffectively utilize Vermeer programs and resources to strengthen existing customer relationships in assigned territory, while actively identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities.Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Vermeer equipment line-up and its applications, as well as awareness of competitive products, industry, and business trends.Enhance the customer experience by collaborating cross-functionally with all departments and effectively communicating with the customer throughout their buying journey, including facilitating equipment start-ups.Equip the customer with Vermeer Confidence Plus and other lifecycle solutions to ensure they are taken care of throughout the life of their machine.Actively participate in routine training courses as assigned, while continuously seeking out opportunities to learn and develop.Support customer and company needs during the financing process, including processing all quotes, sales and lease-purchase agreements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system, including tracking sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions to support data-driven decision making.Conduct professional equipment demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, showcasing product features, capabilities, and proper operation to support their purchasing decisions.Attend trade shows and actively participate in industry associations to build relationships, stay current on industry trends, and represent Vermeer Heartland in the marketplace.Evaluate used equipment for potential trade-in.Position Skills/AbilitiesHigh-level of self-motivation and drive, with ability to make decisions based on the good of the organization.Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand role on a consistent basis.Excellent customer service skills with ability to turn negative situations into positive experiences and opportunities.Excellent people management and communication skills for both internal co-workers and external customers and suppliers.Position RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or vocational training/certification required.Minimum 3-5 years of sales and tree care, rental and landscape industry experience, or equivalent of combined experience.Valid driver's license with ability to meet Heartland insurance providers qualifications.Ability to move body to assess equipment as needed.Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.Safety-sensitive
