About You
Price & Price is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate and probate law, capable of managing the probate process from start to finish. We’re looking for someone with a client-focused approach, excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive mindset. You should take initiative and anticipate needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage case files, maintaining accurate records of correspondence, court documents, and financial records.
- Prepare, review, and file probate court documents, including estate openings, accountings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, executors, beneficiaries, and other involved parties.
- Organize financial records, asset information, and creditor claims.
- Coordinate with financial institutions, government agencies, and other entities to facilitate asset transfers and distributions.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a trusts & estates paralegal or similar role.
- Proven ability to independently manage probate cases from initiation to completion.
- Proficient in timekeeping and tracking billable hours accurately.
- An understanding of probate law and estate administration processes.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and deadline drive skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
