Two Way Radio Programming And Bench Apply
- Full-time position for Two Way Radio Programming and Bench Technician
- Work at a public safety radio communications company in North Carolina
- Job requires experience in codeplug/template/profile development and radio programming
- Must have knowledge of P25 trunking, DMR, and analog protocols
- Proficiency in using radio test equipment (service monitor, wattmeter, etc.)
- Basic understanding of RF theory and principles
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair portable and mobile radios
- Direct work with customers in radio programming development
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Familiarity with RF cables, types of coax, connectors, and ability to test coax cables
- Computer skills necessary, including proficiency in MS Office and Google applications
- Ability to quickly learn new radio and computer hardware/software skills
- Strong self-management skills and ability to work closely with customers and coworkers
- Self-motivation to perform duties without daily direct supervision
- Ability to solve customer problems quickly in stressful situations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clean driver's license and driving history
- Must pass background and drug screenings
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and people skills
