Job Summary:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with infants and helping them grow and learn.
Basic job duties include:
- Create and implement weekly lesson plans for group and individual children
- Observe and assess children's development and skills
- Implement Minimum Licensing and ITERS standards
- Use developmentally appropriate behavior guidance according to the Conscious Discipline program
- Provide nurturing and attentive care to all infants in the classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
- Follow all health and safety protocols.
Qualifications include:
- At least 1 year of experience in an toddler classroom setting
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass drug screening and background checks.
- Familiarity with ITERS and Minimum Licensing is preferred but not required
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must have patience and a positive attitude and be able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
