Client: SEI Investments Duration: Long Term Contract Location: Remote to start; working EST but must be open to future on-site work in Oaks, PA Interview Process: Apex Technical Screening MS Teams Video I/V with SEI Senior Developers MS Teams Video I/V Start Date: 1 week after background check completes This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases. Skills/Requirements Bachelor’s/Master's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution and at least 6 years of UI/Front-End development. 6+ years of experience in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, ES6, Bootstrap, Typescript and SASS experience. Strong experience with Vanilla JavaScript. 1-2+ years’ experience in Angular 6+ or ReactJS 1+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and similar technologies Ability to take creative briefs and business requirements and translate them into simple and user-friendly solutions Drive progress of visual design work to project completion (rich-media banner ads, HTML emails, simple web pages) Testing and debugging cross-browser issues and functionality Utilizing search engine optimization (SEO) Strong understanding/knowledge of modern web/browser technology and API integration. Experience in Agile methodology. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and enhance skills. Nice to have: Understanding of.NET Core Architecture Application development C#, ASP .Net Core, SQL Server .NET Framework, MVC & Web API 2.0 REST Services Architecture knowledge Web Development Concepts (State Management, Stateless Development) Required Skills: UI Developer Strong Vanilla JavaScript - this team uses JavaScript vs. JS libraries mostly. React or Angular experience but the key is JavaScript HTML/CSS.Net applications experience.
