UI Developer Location: Lake Mary, FL Contract Job Description This is an individual contributor role, responsible for building a platform for automated Monitoring Routines. The individual will work in a cross-functional pod, closely with Control Analysts and Product management to design, develop and maintain critical technology and operational assets to support enterprise‑wide automated Monitoring Routines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with Analysts for understanding platform requirements. Develop software artifacts using Agile methodology and extend ownership by providing production support. Develop software feature(s) according to requirements specifications and SDLC. Interface with various R&D, Product management, User Experience and DevOps groups to deliver the eventual solution. Coach peer and junior engineers and champion best practices and encourage software craftsmanship. Develop innovative ideas to address complex issues or future functionality. Ensure the intended design and quality levels are met through regular code reviews and testing of the software in-development. Lead the end‑to‑end individual implementation and support of the software with complete quality coverage and high degrees of responsiveness to any issues that come up throughout the complete lifecycle of the software. Planning and performing unit testing to ensure fit to design/requirements and perform automation. Develop tools and libraries that will enable rapid and scalable development in the future. Participate in the larger development community including conferences, open‑source contribution, technical writing, etc. Ensuring that consistent design patterns methodologies and design documentation are maintained across all development projects. Working closely with the Business Analysts, Testing and Support teams to ensure all technical requirements for new projects are captured, designed, and developed according to those requirements and ensuring urgent customer issues are resolved through efficient troubleshooting and quickly applying solutions to any identified problems. Code quality gate should be passed, and unit Testcase should be written to cover 100% the code written. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 3-5 years of experience as UI developer/programmer. Well versed and comfortable with the following technology stack, tools and processes: Angular CLI, Angular Elements, Bootstrap and Component Dev Kit (CDN) and Bootstrap. GIT.
