Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is looking for an Ultrasound Technician in support of the Blackfeet Community Hospital (BFSU) in Browning, Montana. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. BFSU hours are 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day. CT, Xray and Ultrasound service shift times and schedules are to be provided on an as-needed basis and are subject to change based on the medical needs of the patient population and hospital/clinic operations. This position can be either W2 or 1099.W2 - $50-55/hr1099 - $80-85/hrResponsibilities:Perform CT, Xray and Ultrasound Services examinations as deemed necessary to obtain all possible Information related to each requested examination, including all clerical duties involved. (RPMS, EHR, and PACS systems)Perform all quality control of patient demographics and imagery performedPerform a range of computed tomography examinations as requested, including patient screening and monitoring, patient therapy, and statusPerform Computed Tomography examinationsComplete medical and other required records for patients in a timely fashionComplete chart notes on the day services are renderedWork beyond the scheduled cover hours in emergency casesMedical imaging services may be on-site or on-call servicesPerform other assignments, as determined by the Radiology Department SupervisorQualifications:Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational ProgramMinimum one (1) year of experience in Computer TomographyLicensureCurrent ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Computerized Tomography (CT)Current BLS (Basic Life Support)Image Gently and Image Wisely certification/trainingUndergo IHS mandated security clearanceAttend orientationProvide immunization records as proof of immunity or disease before the performance of workComplete BFSU mandatory training monthly or as neededMust be authorized to work in the United StatesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proficient with E-mail, and patient data entryBe clean and neat in appearance and comply with the Services Unit dress code for professional Radiologic Technologists and present themselves in a professional mannerBe sensitive to the Cultural aspects of Native American Indians in providing care to patientsSpeak, understand, read and write English fluently and communicate with sufficient clarity to be understood by IHS personnel and patientsProficient with MS Office SuiteExcellent written and oral communication skillsChenega Corporation and family of companies is an EOE.
