Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated imaging center. In this role, you will perform specialized diagnostic breast and general ultrasound exams and assist in interventional procedures. You will work closely with our Radiologists to provide high-quality imaging vital for the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Imaging: Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic breast ultrasound exams, including targeted scans for palpable lumps or mammographic abnormalities.
- Interventional Assistance: Provide real-time ultrasound guidance during invasive procedures, including core needle biopsies, cyst aspirations, and needle localizations.
- Documentation: Compile comprehensive sonographer reports identifying the location, size, and characteristics of findings using BI-RADS terminology.
- Quality Control: Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with ACR and MQSA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Certification: Current RDMS certification.
- Specialization: Must be eligible to obtain the Breast (BR) specialty credential.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in breast-specific imaging preferred.
