Ultrasound Technician Apply
Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technician will work in a busy department, primarily Monday through Thursday nights, performing a variety of ultrasound examinations. The role requires independent scanning skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The technician must be multifaceted and proficient in OB, breast, vascular, general abdomen, and GYN ultrasound, including vascular studies for DVT.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations including OB, breast, vascular, general abdomen, and GYN.
- Conduct vascular studies for DVT.
- Independently scan patients and interpret results.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple shifts.
- Utilize portable ultrasound equipment as needed.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Assist in emergency situations as needed.
- Perform ultrasound examinations including OB, breast, vascular, general abdomen, and GYN.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
- AB/OB/VASC certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Proficiency in Adult, Emergency Department, Portables, PACS, Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis, Spleen, 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus, Vaginal, Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum, Thyroid, Carotid, Doppler Studies, Lower Extremity Venous, Peripheral Vascular Resistance, Upper Extremity Venous
- ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
