Blue Ridge, United States | Posted on 02/25/2026 The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA to find an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) . This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer who is passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence. Position Overview: Days, Full-time The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams, including but not limited to vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts imaging. Special procedures such as biopsies may also be required. Key Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound exams and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation. Maintain a clean, sterile environment and properly manage equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety protocols. Transport patients to and from the exam room safely, while using proper body mechanics. Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and understanding. Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that studies are accurately documented. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as required. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or demonstrated expertise sufficient to meet department standards. ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty, or registry-eligible (must achieve certification within one year of hire). CPR certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire if not already current). Preferably at least one year of hospital-based experience. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and function under stress. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed. Standing for extended periods and occasionally walking or bending.
