We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a team focused on delivering high‑quality ultrasound services. Responsibilities Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with approved practices and department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements. Assist radiologists with ultrasound‑guided biopsies and procedures as needed. Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations. Monitor patient's well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Demonstrate competency regarding safeguarding patient property and patient health information. Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Qualifications Completed an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma. Passed the SPI exam. Current ARDMS certification or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred. BLS certification. Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgment. Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues.
