The Multispecialty Sonographer performs a wide range of basic to advanced ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties. This role requires strong clinical expertise to review patient history, determine appropriate imaging protocols, and expand exams as needed to support accurate diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures including:
- Abdominal
- OB/GYN
- Cardiac (ECHO)
- Vascular
- Musculoskeletal
- Small parts
- Evaluate patient history to determine exam objectives
- Modify and expand imaging studies as clinically necessary
- Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program
- Minimum 2 years of multispecialty sonography experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of hire
Must have TWO credentials in separate specialties, such as:
- ARDMS – RDMS: AB, BR, OB/GYN, PS
- ARDMS – RDCS: AE, FE, PE
- ARDMS – RVT
- ARDMS – RMSKS
- ARRT – S, VS, BS
Candidates must have ARDMS in AB or OB or RVT with at least 2 years of multispecialty experience
