Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our OB/GYN clinic team in Ottumwa, IA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, supporting patient care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Perform general and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and ensure their comfort throughout the exam.

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.

• Document and store imaging results in the patient's medical record.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to support accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

• Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general ultrasound.

Certifications/Licenses

• ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible in Ultrasound.

• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.

• Iowa Mandatory Reporter certifications for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse.
