Job Title: Ultrasound Tech (Vascular/Echo)
Location: Plainview, TX
W2 Pay (Travel): $2700 - $2800 (Weekly)
Schedule: 4x10-Hour Days (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Start Date: 04/06/2026
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality vascular and general ultrasound examinations, including carotid, aorta, and extremity studies
• Conduct echocardiography procedures such as adult echo, contrast echo, and stress echo (treadmill)
• Utilize Doppler, duplex, and color flow imaging techniques to assess blood flow and vascular conditions
• Perform abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and pediatric ultrasound procedures as needed
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and fine needle aspirations (preferred)
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging results
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure safety and comfort at all times
• Accurately document and maintain patient records using electronic medical record systems (EPIC)
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (GE, PACS) ensuring optimal performance
• Follow infection control protocols and adhere to safety standards, including PPE usage
• Support imaging needs across multiple departments including ED, ICU, OB, and outpatient settings
Requirements:
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech (Vascular/Echo preferred)
• Required certifications: ARDMS and/or RVT, BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional certifications such as CCI or RDCS preferred
• Strong experience in vascular imaging including carotid, arterial, and venous studies
• Proficiency in Doppler, duplex imaging, and ultrasound physics principles
• Experience in general ultrasound including abdomen, small parts, and OB/GYN imaging
• Familiarity with echocardiography procedures including stress and contrast echo
• Experience working with adult, pediatric, and high-risk OB patients
• Knowledge of EPIC charting system required
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments such as ED, ICU, and inpatient settings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
