Ultrasound Technologist Apply
Schedule and Location Hours: 32 flex 40hrs. Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation. Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA (coverage at Tobey Hospital and Rosebrook Medical Building; part of weekend, holiday, weeknight on‑call rotation). Responsibilities Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within the assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure requests. Obtain pertinent information from patient chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare, and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Be aware of the principles of ALARA and MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology and attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, the Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography. Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption upon hiring. Compensation & Benefits $10,000 new‑hire sign‑on bonus for new hires (rehires after more than one year also eligible). Pay rate determined based on level of experience.
