Location : El Dorado Hills, CA (Remote)

Must Have Skills:
1. Documentum Platform Expertise
- Content Server Architecture: Understanding how Documentum stores, indexes, and retrieves content.
- DQL (Documentum Query Language): For extracting metadata and content.
- Documentum APIs: Knowledge of DFS, DFC, REST services for integration and data extraction.
- Security Model: Permissions, ACLs, and user roles.
- Document Types & Metadata Models: Understanding custom object types and metadata schemas.
2. Content Analysis & Classification
- Ability to analyze:
- Document types (PDFs, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Metadata structures
- Relationships between documents (e.g., versioning, linking)
- Retention policies and compliance requirements
3. ServiceNow Migration related Architecture & Migration Design Skills
- ServiceNow Knowledge Management Expertise
- Knowledge Base Design: Structuring KBs for different departments or use cases.
- Article Templates & Categories: Designing reusable formats for consistency.
- Workflow Configuration: Approval, publishing, archiving processes.
- Role-Based Access Control: Permissions and visibility settings
- Migration Strategy & Tools
- Data Mapping: Mapping Documentum metadata to ServiceNow article fields.
- Content Transformation: Converting documents into readable, searchable articles (e.g., HTML formatting, embedded images).
- Import Methods:
- Manual (for small sets)
- Bulk import via API
- Partner tools like Precision Bridge for automation

- Validation & Testing: Ensuring data integrity, completeness, and formatting accuracy.

4. Experience in project related to migration of Documentum Document/Content Management to ServiceNow Knowledge Management and in addressing Common Challenges in following areas:
- Technical Considerations
- Handling complex formatting (HTML, embedded media, links).
- Ensuring version control and document relationships are preserved.
- Avoiding manual migration traps and custom script pitfalls that can lead to data loss or corruption.

- Governance & Compliance
- Ensuring migrated content adheres to regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Maintaining audit trails and access logs.

- Stakeholder Engagement
- Involving business owners, IT, compliance, and end-users early.
- Aligning migration goals with business outcomes and user experience.

Key Consideration:
- Commitment to work with full dedication and focus and drive the project with use of required skills and AI technique
- Commitment to work with Offshore team members and help in training and skill building to ensure the team is able to work coherently.
