Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Mount Olive, NC 28365

Pay Rate: $66-$68/hr

Duration: 10 weeks contract

Guarantee Hours: 36

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Policy Development & Implementation: Develop and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and promote best practices in patient care.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee patient care activities to ensure that care standards are met and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Budget Management: Manage the nursing department's budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
