We are seeking a Physical Therapist - Home health (Allied) for a travel/contract position in NY. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Location: Johnson City, NY 13790

Contract Length: 13 weeks contract

Pay Rate: $50 - $56/hr

Shift: 8hr Day

Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed

"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."

Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. This role involves creating individualized treatment plans, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety techniques, and strategies to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, adhering to all documentation requirements.

Requirements:

Required:-

• Experience/Education: 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, receiving applicable degree in physical therapy study with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent. Certified Home health experience along with OASIS experience.
• Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license for New York State.
• Certifications: BLS certification
• Skills: Strong communication, patient education, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree with previous physical therapy experience in a hospital based setting.
