The Receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors and customers at Reception, and directing them to their appointment or meeting place. The Receptionist presents the corporate face of SLB to the public and employees, and helps create the first impression that each visitor receives. This person is familiar with company standards and corporate image, and ensures seamless front desk assistance to staff and visitors. Handle complex and confidential secretarial and administrative assignments. Perform secretarial duties as required, including: Type and proofread formal letters, interoffice correspondence and miscellaneous documents; compose correspondence and responses to inquiries independently. Answer telephone and handle requests for information at an advanced level. Set up and maintain department records, files, and personnel badges. Examples include, but are not limited to: Daily task logs, visitors logs, HSE data logs Arrange travel schedules and reservations. Support and train others. Monitor accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all critical business systems transactions. Coordinate meetings and office communications, including PPE issuance, catering, off-site events and refreshments. Schedule conference rooms, audio/visual equipment and other materials as requested. Maintain stock levels for routine orders such as coffee/refreshments, office supplies and other administrative orders for facilities and other department heads as requested. Check in and receive orders in the system. Support facilities in arranging waste pickups, refreshment deliveries Creation and placement of orders in SAP shopping carts and other routine purchase orders and P-card/credit card purchases and expense compilation Have a strong focus on customer service and engagement. Able to address and resolve employee, vendor and contractors inquiries and issues efficiently or escalate to appropriate department heads as needed. Assist as on site new hire coordinator, bridging communication between HR and facilities. High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years administrative experience Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. SAP proficiency/experience strongly preferred. College degree in business administration, HR, accounting or related discipline
