Job Description

Job Description

At Empeon, we’re building a best-in-class HCM platform tailored to the healthcare and home care industries. Our platform serves thousands of companies, and we’re growing quickly. To support that growth, we’re looking for UX/UI Designers to help shape and elevate the user experience across key areas of our platform.

About the Role:

Empeon is seeking talented UX/UI Designers to create intuitive solutions for complex workflows in our SaaS platform. Working under the design lead, you'll own the full design process—from user research and discovery through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and delivery—translating user needs into clear development requirements. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product owners and development teams, balancing user advocacy with business and technical constraints. These roles require strong product thinking, excellent UX execution, and the ability to tackle complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & prototype intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces across our web and mobile applications
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and pixel-perfect execution, while also demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Take ownership of design decisions and effectively communicate and defend your work
  • Contribute to and help maintain our design system and documentation

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment with B2B or enterprise software
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, complex problem-solving, and enterprise software experience
  • Demonstrated visual design skills with a strong aesthetic sense and attention to typography, color, spacing, and hierarchy
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to synthesize competing stakeholder feedback, advocate for design decisions, and "disagree and commit" when necessary
  • Self-sufficiency - asking questions, researching data, taking away & designing iteratively
  • Adaptable mindset and willingness to quickly pivot projects in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Professional development budget
  • Collaborative, growth-focused team environment

If you're a talented designer with a growth mindset and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, we'd love to hear from you. .
