Job Title: UX Designer

Location: North Andover, MA - Onsite

Duration: 12months Contract then - C2H



UX Designer with a strong background in UI/UX Design.


Works with the product owner(s), customers, and scrum team(s) to enhance our customer experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:


Strong UI/UX design skills showcasing problem solving techniques focused on the customer.
Expertise in design software such as Figma, Fig jam, and Miro.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
Strong understanding of usability principles, journey mapping techniques, information architecture, and interaction design.
Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to support evidence-focused design decisions.
Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and process.
Define and execute a customer centric strategy to focus on the customer experience through user research
Strong journey mapping experience.
Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs
Collaborating with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Create personas through user research and data
Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
Work with existing UI Developers to create wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Ability to lead and manage a team




Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant discipline such as UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Thinking, or a related discipline.
5-7+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer responsible for Design and UX Research and advocating for customer experience
3 – 5 years of user research and usability testing

Strong portfolio showcasing web application projects, detailing your role and process
Strong portfolio of design projects
Proven expertise in creating designs that work seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes
Background in project management and research
Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma)
Some knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript/React is a plus
Problem-solving aptitude
Analytical mind with a business acumen
Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and thought processes
