With our website being viewed by tens of millions globally, come and help create, inspire, and influence user-centered design at Esri and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Focusing on the intersection of digital events and user experience, own and create a high-impact, forward-thinking vision to help shape the future design of over 30 Esri-hosted events
  • Be in the room for project scope and requirements gathering in collaboration with project managers, strategists, and researchers
  • Help establish best practices of customer journey mapping and service design artifacts to help unify experiences and flows across multiple digital platforms
  • Attend resource planning meetings to support key programs and projects
  • Cultivate a culture of high performance and professionalism by demonstrating Esri's core competencies
  • Communicate regularly with your team through individual-level interactions guiding performance as well as problem-solving if issues arise
  • Coach team members, identify and define their skills and goals, and support their individual career paths by utilizing our excellent development resources and benefits
  • Be our UX evangelisthave an opinion, use your voice, mentor others, and communicate the value of UX

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience specializing in user experience, research, and interaction design, preferably with a focus on business-to-business (B2B) technology company
  • 1+ years of experience leading high-impact design initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of mixed-method UX research methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Expert knowledge of design tools (Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex ideas understandable
  • A clear passion for experimentation and for crafting tactics needed to improve user experience and drive increased performance
  • Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, user experience, interaction design, applied social science, or a related field such as digital marketing

Recommended Qualifications

  • AEM and Adobe Analytics experience
  • High-performing professional with experience in live events, or event management software is a really big plus
  • Master's degree in human-computer interaction, user experience, interaction design, applied social science, or a related field such as digital marketing
  • If you don't know about geographic information system (GIS) technology, a willingness to find out will go a long way

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$104,000$170,560 USD
