Contract Duration: 5 Months Required Skills & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of administrative experience (in the automotive industry preferred) Working knowledge of computer usage, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to execute and deliver results. Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills. High attention to detail, including precise data entry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass a background check and drug test are required. Desired Skills & Experience Some college education 1+ years’ experience in the transportation field or an automotive auction house. 1+ years’ experience in sales or call center. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in making real-time phone calls through the recorded line to verify vehicle status with pickup sites. Build a relationship with the Manheim Auction commercial team and management. Show proficiency with communication via the recorded line phone system. Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails. Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders. Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents. Monitor holds and verification delays. Dispatch negotiation and a heavy understanding of sales tactics to increase margin. Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA’s. Following up with carriers on several VINs daily. Process Fees and post-assessorial charges to record. Request Hold Harmless/Releases. Investigating kickback of VINs by carriers to get units re-dispatched. Be comfortable holding carriers accountable to their plan. Create and manage corrective action of a vendor. Monitoring order entry failures throughout the day and correcting them. Understanding of margin relative to position and some tracking of margin requirements. Monitoring and correcting master data files for location errors. Measuring performance – understanding analytics for clients and vendors. Report on performance results for high-level management and executive leaders. Compile vehicle transportation-related data and generate reports. Follow all job-related duties as directed by the supervisor. Be an outside-the-box thinker who can solve problems quickly.
