Control Risks is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support our client with Client intake and onboarding. This position will work with a global team to provide compliance, quality assurance, and contract management to the clients Vendor procurement team as they look to onboard contracts in their food services, facilities, and security teams. 

Role requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Business, S2P Contracts, Sourcing and Legal Teams to review drafted contracts.  
  • Ensure all required backup documents are there and amounts match. Routing and submitting contract record for approvals and signature.  
  • Work cloesly with Business Teams to help push through approvals and signatures promptly and sending out reminders to Supplier and Business teams for signatures.  
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, HR, Compliance, Technology and Operations teams, to understand procurement needs and specifications. 
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor information within the procurement system. 
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and advancements in procurement technology. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Experience within the tech industry preferred. 
  • Strong contract management skills, with a focus on compliance and risk management. 
  • Proficient in the procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to travel to meet with vendors or attend industry events.
