Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and well-connected Venture Capital Scout to join our team. The Venture Capital Scout will play a key role in identifying and sourcing promising early-stage startups and investment opportunities. This role requires strong networking skills, a deep understanding of startup ecosystems, and a passion for discovering innovative companies and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and source high-potential early-stage startups that align with the firm's investment strategy.
• Build and maintain a network of founders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to stay informed about emerging trends and potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct initial assessments of startups, including evaluating business models, market potential, and team capabilities.
• Provide the investment team with detailed reports on potential deals, including market research and competitive analysis.
• Attend industry events, pitch sessions, and networking meetups to identify promising startups and build relationships within the startup community.
• Serve as a liaison between the venture capital firm and potential startups, facilitating introductions and communication.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential investment opportunities and provide regular updates to the investment team.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify new areas of investment.

• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and investment processes.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with an established network in the startup community.
• Ability to evaluate early-stage startups, including their business models, market potential, and competitive positioning.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to quickly assess the viability of new business ideas.
• Passion for entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience as a founder, early-stage employee, or in a related role within the startup ecosystem is a plus.
