Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
- Monitor animal recovery and adjust treatments as necessary.

- Provide routine health checks and vaccinations.
- Advise pet owners on nutrition, hygiene, and overall care to prevent disease.
- Educate clients on the best practices for maintaining animal health.

- Respond to urgent medical situations and provide immediate care.
- Stabilize critically ill or injured animals and determine appropriate follow-up treatment.

- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and procedures to pet owners clearly.
- Offer guidance on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments.
- Address client concerns and provide emotional support.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each animal.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

Collaboration:
- Work with veterinary technicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with specialists for complex cases.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state or region where you are employed.
- Experience: Experience in a clinical setting is often preferred, though recent graduates may also be considered.

- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.

Work Environment:
