The Veterinary Client Care Specialist provides the first impression and serves a vital role by assisting clients and their pets. This multifaceted position, team members use their problem-solving skills to effectively guide the clients experience through multi-tasking and superior customer service.

Veterinary Client Care Specialists have the opportunity to earn $15.00 to $16.00 per hour depending on experience.

Strategic Focus

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication
  • Participate in month team training courses
  • Assisting the veterinary team as needed
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment

Tactical Focus

  • Greets clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner demonstrating poise and natural effort, quickly attending to client needs
  • Administrative duties such as medical record-keeping, process payments and schedule appointments
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle client complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution

Responsibilities

    • Identify and assess clients’ needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Handle client complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of client interactions, process payments, schedule appointments
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Go the extra mile to engage clients

Requirements

  • Proven customer support experience
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma
