Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Administering medications, vaccinations, and other routine care.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and lab work, including bloodwork and urinalysis.
  • Providing client education on pet care, preventive health, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean and organized clinic.
  • Supporting surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and conducting dental cleanings (for technicians).

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Assistant: A passion for animal care and a willingness to learn. Experience is a plus but not required.
  • Veterinary Technician: Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
