We are seeking a VIB Receiver/Driver - Ft. Gregg-Adams BSC. Perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving incoming shipments of merchandise. Driving a box truck to provide timely, courteous delivery of goods as needed to customers. Responsibilities may also include forklift operation and material movement, cash register operation, providing customer service, stocking shelves, and other duties in support of the operation of the Base Supply Center.


Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge/Experience:

Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated problem-solving and excellent customer service skills. Proficient computer skills, familiarity with internet, Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software.

Ability to operate up to a 25ft Box Truck and to operate a pallet jack/forklift. Ability to perform duties independently without direct supervision; and to repeatedly and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 8 hours.

Additional Considerations:

Experience working in a military environment and / or federal government environment with military and civilian personnel. General warehousing, delivery service and/or retail experience.

Special Instructions

Must be able to pass a criminal background check for access to the military base.
