The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting strategic decision-making. This includes driving process improvements, overseeing tax and treasury functions, and playing a key role in system implementations. The VP, Accounting will also be tasked with managing a team, preparing financial statements, and partnering with FP&A to analyze variances and communicate financial results to leadership. Applicants for the VP, Accounting position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience. Recent experience in the consumer product industry is essential. The role requires the management of at least 2 people, and experience with corporate tax filing, SAP software, and sales and use tax filing is a plus.
