Vice President, Controller About the Company Accomplished manufacturing organization IndustryElectrical/Electronic Manufacturing TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP/Controller to take on a pivotal leadership role in finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, planning, and overall business performance. This includes leading all accounting and finance operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and delivering clear financial insights. The role also involves close collaboration with operations to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, as well as driving process improvements, managing cash flow, and leading a team of accounting professionals. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a background in a manufacturing environment. Experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar operational finance leadership position, with a strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and internal controls, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with operations, influencing business decisions, and managing and developing teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required, as is the ability to operate in a hands-on, mid-sized company environment. Preferred experience includes supporting multiple business units, exposure to project-based or contract-driven environments, and working on strategic initiatives with executive leadership.
