Vice President, Controller About the Company Expanding insurance company specializing in property & casualty insurance IndustryInsurance TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President - Controller to spearhead financial operations within a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving strong regulatory compliance. This executive role demands a leader with deep expertise in P&C insurance accounting, statutory reporting, and reinsurance/fronting structures, who can also serve as a key advisor on complex accounting matters, emerging insurance products, and strategic initiatives. The VP - Controller will lead a high-performing finance team, partner with cross-functional teams, and be instrumental in the evaluation of accounting impacts of new products and complex transactions. Applicants for the VP - Controller position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. A strong background in property and casualty insurance accounting, particularly in fronting and reinsurance structures, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in building and leading finance teams, advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems/ERP, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
