The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the company's risk management policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing the design and execution of the model risk management program, conducting independent model validations, and performing financial risk analysis and testing. The VP will also be involved in risk reviews, second-line testing in financial areas, and will engage with both internal and external stakeholders to communicate and drive agreement on risk management approaches. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and 5-15 years' of related experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, model validation, or model development within a financial institution or consulting firm. Managerial experience is also required. The role demands a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and statistical analysis software, as well as strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
