The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and refining project management methodologies, processes, and tools that are specifically tailored to the pharmaceutical advertising lifecycle. This role involves partnering with executive leadership to identify and implement opportunities for improved workflow efficiency, quality control, and increased profitability. The VP will also be tasked with owning the selection, implementation, and management of project management software, resource management tools, and workflow systems, as well as developing risk mitigation strategies to address project challenges unique to the pharma industry. Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or director-level role within a pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency. A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing landscape, including the processes for the development and submission of regulated promotional materials, is essential. The role requires a collaborative and partnering approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence C-suite leadership. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required, and a PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred. The VP will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the project management department, overseeing resource planning, and ensuring compliance with the MLR process.
