Position: Vice President Capital Markets

Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of capital raising transactions
  • Work closely with senior bankers to develop financing strategies for clients
  • Analyze industry and market trends to identify potential opportunities for clients
  • Prepare pitch books, offering memorandum, and other marketing materials for client presentations
  • Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors
  • Cultivating new client relationships
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and market developments affecting capital markets

Requirements

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment banking or related field 
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) 
    • Strong knowledge of capital markets and financing transactions 
    • Proven track record of successfully executing capital raising transactions 
    • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills 
    • FINRA Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 licenses required (or within 6 months of hire) 
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
    • Willing to travel 50% of role
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively 
    • Must be highly organized and demonstrate a strong attention to detail 
    • Self-confident and have the ability to maintain composure in challenging environments
