SummaryStrategic financial leadership role working with business leaders to drive sustainable financial performance. This individual will be responsible for all financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting of revenue and expense. This position will lead the medium and long-range planning processes; creation, deployment, and management of quotas for sales; budgeting process; and all forecasting and trend analysis. This position will also play an active leadership role on the Finance team and will be the primary contact for the business in terms of providing guidance and input on monthly financial results, performance, quota achievement, and budget management. Additionally, this individual will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management and investors, including preparing for board presentations, financial presentations, market & competitive comparisons, P&L analysis, and other special projects. RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage the annual strategic plan and budget process and long-term forecasts, responsible for all aspects of the monthly and quarterly projection cycles.In connection with the Controller, develop and implement monthly cost center reporting and support functional leaders by providing timely and insightful variance commentary between actual results and forecasts/budgets to drive financial performance.Analyze overall business trends & key revenue variances. Draw conclusions from data and provide management with strategic information to inform the management of the company.Develop KPI trending and analysis. Identify key metrics, monitor performance of the organization, present information, and implications, collaborate with leadership, and provide strategic guidance.Partner with controller to provide monthly & quarterly internal financial reporting package. Identify and interpret critical trends to provide insights to leadership to drive the business forward.Ad-hoc business performance analysis and sales reporting. Proactively develop understanding of business needs.Develop a robust sales forecasting model from the ground up, detailed bottoms up approach including potential accounts, existing accounts, growth opportunities by zip code, etc.Develop and deploy annual quotas for all sales and create tracking to budget and analysis related to the same.Assist in any finance or accounting projects on occasion as needed.Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.Ensure procedures and compliance policies are adhered to and internal controls are operating effectively.Support other special projects and duties as assigned by the leadership team. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCEB.S. in Finance and/or Accounting preferred10-12 years of experience in Finance or advanced degree (MBA)Must have prior FP&A experienceMust have medical device experience, preferable in neuromodulationMust have M& A experienceMust be detailed orientedAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while also collaborating with the leadership teamStrong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal DESIRED PROFILE:Proven leader with a can-do attitude and strong background in finance and/or accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).Tech enthusiast with experience building dashboards and integrating platforms--translating and presenting complex data and making it actionableStrategic thinker skilled in forecasting and modeling for growth Collaborative, ready to work with the executive leadership team to harness opportunities through innovation, disciplined financial management, and accountabilityPassionate about automating processes and driving efficiency through technology.Proven history of managing within all levels of the organizationA true self-motivated and proactive change agent and driver who understands or is willing to learn the business to optimize efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
