Our client is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as the CEO’s primary financial partner and strategic advisor. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving financial stewardship, economic transparency, and decision support across the organization.The VP of Finance will play a critical role in shaping capital strategy, profitability, and risk management—ensuring the business is positioned for sustainable, long‑term value creation.What You’ll DoStrategic Leadership & Business PartnershipAct as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, guiding financial strategy, capital allocation, and enterprise risk management.Partner closely with Operations and Commercial leaders to evaluate business cases, challenge assumptions, and deliver actionable, data‑driven insights.Translate financial complexity into clear KPIs, profitability analysis, and recommendations that drive performance and growth.Financial Operations & GovernanceOwn end‑to‑end responsibility for Finance, Controlling, and Accounting, including oversight of an international subsidiary.Process Excellence & TransformationEnhance financial processes, reporting, and controls to improve transparency, speed, and decision quality.Lead major cross‑functional initiatives such as ERP/software implementations, cost structure redesign, and digital transformation projects.Collaborate with global stakeholders on initiatives including accounting standard adoption, forecasting financing needs, ESG initiatives, global minimum tax requirements, and transfer pricing.Team Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, develop, and mentor a high‑performing finance organization.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.What We’re Looking ForProven executive‑level finance leadership in a process‑driven industrial, manufacturing, or materials environment.Strong background in FP&A, operational finance, and business partnering, with a hands‑on, pragmatic approach.Strategic thinker who thrives in decentralized environments and is comfortable improving evolving or imperfect systems.Inspirational leader with a record of building strong teams and earning credibility across the business.Business‑minded and collaborative, with a values‑driven leadership style centered on trust, transparency, and teamwork.Experience supporting significant investment, expansion, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.Willingness to relocate to Lafayette, Indiana, and commit to long‑term leadership within the organization.Why This Role?Long‑Term Focus: Privately held ownership supports sustainable growth and long‑term value creation rather than short‑term results.Executive Autonomy: Meaningful decision‑making authority with access to engaged ownership during pivotal moments.Financial Strength: A stable, well‑capitalized organization investing proactively in growth, innovation, and transformation.Culture of Change: A forward‑looking organization with an optimistic, engaged workforce open to new ideas and continuous improvement.
