Summary:

 

1915 South (d/b/a Ashley) is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our executive team as the Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail Analytics. This critical role will drive the company’s growth by aligning merchandising strategies with market trends, enhancing brand positioning, and leveraging data analytics to optimize retail performance.

 

The Vice President will oversee product assortment and visual presentation, pricing and promotion strategies, and inventory management to ensure optimal merchandise selection across all retail locations. This leader will spearhead innovative marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence and drive market share growth. Additionally, the role will lead the integration of advanced retail analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

 

This role is perfect for a visionary leader with proven expertise in merchandising, marketing, and retail analytics.  The role is critical to ensuring sustained growth for 1915 South and maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.       Merchandising Strategy: Design and implement merchandise plans that align with market trends, customer preferences and store formats across our southeastern markets in order to maximize sales and profitability.

2.       Optimized Product Assortment: Curate and manage product mix across retail locations to ensure optimal inventory levels and category performance.

3.       Pricing and Promotional Strategies: Establish competitive pricing models and promotional campaigns to drive sales and maintain profit margins.

4.       Inventory Management: Ensure efficient inventory management and product availability by working closely with supply chain and operations teams.

5.       Local Brand Positioning: Drive the strategy to ensure our brand presence is strong in our markets and differentiate 1915 South/Ashley in the marketplace.

6.       Marketing Campaigns: Create and oversee multi-channel marketing initiatives that increase customer engagement and drive store traffic.

7.       Customer Experience: Implement customer-centric marketing programs that build brand loyalty and elevate the in-store and online shopping experience.

8.       Data-Driven Decision-Making: Establish a data foundation that sets up 1915 South for growth and leverage analytics to guide merchandising and marketing strategies, ensuring informed and impactful business decisions.

9.       Market Trends and Consumer Behavior: Continuously monitor market dynamics and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.

10.   Performance Metrics and KPIs: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of merchandising, marketing, and sales initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

•              Bachelors of Science or Equivalent Experience
