The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems, and establishing an AI-first software engineering framework. Strategic leadership, engineering execution, architecture and technology, cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, and organization and talent management are key areas of focus for this position. Applicants for the Vice President of Software Engineering role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions. The role demands a leader with a strong background in modern software architectures, experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies, and a deep understanding of AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams, deliver complex, enterprise-scale SaaS platforms, and develop AI-enabled customer-facing products. Leadership skills, including strategic thinking, change management, and the ability to influence at the executive level, are essential.
