DSA Vice President - Inland Empire (Education & Higher Ed)An established construction firm is seeking a Vice President to lead and grow their already successful Inland Empire office - an office that is already on track to generate over $100M from this office alone.With over $300M in annual revenue and nearly $1B in backlog, the company is continuing to expand across education throughout the region. This role will play a key part in strengthening leadership within the Inland Empire office and supporting the next phase of growth.As the Vice President you will:Lead major construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring delivery on quality, safety, schedule, and profitability.Provide executive oversight to multiple project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers.Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, municipal clients, architects, and subcontractors.Mentor and develop internal talent, helping grow the next generation of project leadership.Drive collaboration across project teams and improve coordination between business units.Support project pursuits and help position the company for continued growth in the education and public sector construction markets.Oversee project controls including procurement, change orders, risk management, and contract compliance.Represent the company with owners and key stakeholders as a senior leader within the region.You bring:Significant experience delivering large-scale ground-up construction projects, ideally within education, municipal, or public sector markets.A background that includes hands-on project delivery — someone who has worked closely with field teams and understands jobsite operations.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents.Strong relationship-building skills with clients, architects, and subcontractors.A leadership style that combines people development with operational discipline.Experience managing projects typically in the $40M–$70M+ range.Executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy This Opportunity?Join a growing Southern California builder with nearly $1B in secured backlog.Become a key leader within the Inland Empire region, where significant growth is expected.Work within an employee-owned company that prioritizes culture, collaboration, and long-term careers.Lead meaningful projects that support schools, communities, and essential public infrastructure.Opportunity to grow into regional leadership.
