The Role The Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) is seeking a Video Content Specialist to lead video production across athletics, events, campaigns, and member programming. As the club’s primary videographer, this role is responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that elevates MAC’s brand and strengthens the member experience. Reporting to the Content Producer and collaborating closely with the Communications team, this position manages day‑to‑day video production while ensuring creative consistency, strong visual storytelling, and adherence to club brand standards. The role also supports limited photography needs (approximately 10%) to ensure comprehensive visual coverage across MAC channels. What You’ll Do Video Production Serve as MAC’s primary videographer, capturing video across athletics, events, member programs, and marketing campaigns. Lead on‑site video shoots, including lighting, audio, camera operation, and overall production setup. Edit short‑form and long‑form video content aligned with MAC brand guidelines. Provide video coverage for competitions, signature events, leadership communications, and community initiatives. Maintain and manage all video assets, ensuring organized file systems and accessible libraries. Oversee post‑production workflows including editing, color correction, audio balancing, motion graphics integration, and formatting for various platforms. Photography & Still Content Support Capture high‑quality still photography during events or programs as needed. Deliver edited photo assets for use across social media, web, email, and print channels. Club & Department Collaboration Partner with the creative and communications teams to support storytelling initiatives and content planning. Work cross‑functionally with departments across the club to produce video that supports campaigns, programs, and internal priorities. Build positive, professional relationships with members and staff while capturing authentic, engaging moments. Demonstrate flexibility and collaboration while working with multiple teams and stakeholders. Work occasional evenings and weekends based on event and production schedules. What You’ll Bring 3–5 years of experience in professional videography and video editing. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects strongly preferred. Experience capturing athletics, events, or other fast‑paced environments. A portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling, particularly in sports or competitions, is highly preferred. Working knowledge of lighting, audio, and multi‑environment production setups. Experience developing motion graphics, lower thirds, and basic animated assets. Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and comfort working with diverse groups of members, from youth athletes to long‑time club members.
