The OpportunityThe team is building a YouTube-led growth engine targeting small business owners. We aren't looking for a generic video editor or a social media manager; we are looking for a YouTube Craftsperson. Your goal is to turn raw footage into a predictable pipeline for trust, leads, and sales by focusing on one thing: Audience Retention.What You Will OwnHigh-Velocity Long-Form Production: Edit 5 long-form videos (8–25 mins) per week, focusing on narrative arcs, tightening pacing, and removing "fluff".Retention Engineering: Use "pattern interrupts," visual reinforcement, and creative hooks to keep viewers watching longer.The "Click" Strategy: Co-create thumbnail concepts and provide 3–5 title options per video based on "promise vs. payoff" principles.Short-Form Discovery: Repurpose each long-form video into 6–12 high-impact Shorts with custom-written hooks.Required "YouTube Craft" & ToolsProfessional Toolset: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (Primary), After Effects, and Photoshop.Retention Thinking: Ability to explain why a viewer might drop off and how to use the edit to prevent it.Speed & Systems: Capable of a 72-hour turnaround from raw footage to first cut once workflows are established.Portfolio Requirement: Must provide a portfolio of YouTube long-form content.
