We have partnered with a general contractor in the Woodland, CA area to provide them with a Virtual Design & Construction Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Virtual Design & Construction Engineer:

#1. Must have understanding concepts of VDC or BIM

#2. Must have excellent computer skills, including high level of proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and BlueBeam

#3. Must have Building Information Model (BIM) systems (i.e., Autodesk Revit, Bentley, Vico Constructor, TEKLA, Synchro, Navisworks, Sketchup and similar software suites) exp.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years

Requirements of the Virtual Design & Construction Engineer:

• A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in the building or design industry, though not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts.
• Initial exposure to and basic experience with various Building Information Model (BIM) software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Bentley, Vico Constructor, TEKLA, Synchro, Navisworks, Sketchup, or similar tools) is necessary.
• High proficiency in computer applications, including advanced skills in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and BlueBeam.
• Strong organizational abilities, dedication to work, and openness to new ideas are essential.
• Creative mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Other Key Requirements:

• 100% in the office
• Sponsorships or visa holders okay. No Corp-to-Corp.
