As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you will perform a range of administrative and clinical tasks to facilitate smooth telehealth operations, including managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointment booking for telehealth services.
• Assist patients with inquiries and provide information about services available.
• Document and update patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct preliminary assessments and record patient vitals through telecommunication.
• Support healthcare providers with administrative tasks, including billing and coding.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline virtual healthcare processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various tasks efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while being a team player.
